Giving Thanks

December and January brought much anticipated rains, and new milestones at the Hayes Valley Farm including harvesting and sharing our winter food crops and our Youth Education Program’s successful Winter Wonderfarm, an urban day-camp for kids. February brought us our one year anniversary, which we celebrated on February 13th with a potluck, screen-printing and acoustic music. We are excited to announce a second day-camp for kids: Spring Sprout Camp will occur during the last week of March and a second session for one week in mid-April. John Muir Elementary School Pre-Kindergarten

If so, check out John Muir’s Pre Kindergarten program located at 380 Webster Street. As part of Title 1 and the Preschool for All initiative we are currently enrolling. Our program, taught by Ms. Mary Lee Kane, M.A. Early Childhood Education, is free and runs daily from 8:30-12:00pm. Interested?
