The SF Planning Department is hosting their first community workshop for the Market Octavia Living Alley Project on Tuesday, July 9th from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the Hayes Valley Playground Recreation Center (699 Hayes Street). The main goal of Market and Octavia Living Alley Project is to enable residents to engage in place making — to create a public realm that strengthens the community, creates a sense of identity, and makes a more useful, safe, and attractive neighborhood.
