Summer Internship/Green job training for teens

90-Hour Internship Program

BEETS is a green job training program for 15-19 year olds, primarily living in the Western Addition of San Francisco. The program provides structured internships and occupational training, for young people with barriers to employment, through a variety of workshops, field trips, and hands-on experiences.

Attend workshops on Resume Building, Interviewing, Cover Letter Writing, and Finding a Job. Gain hands-on experience working in community gardens and parks. Assist with CommunityGrows garden and cooking classes for elementary-aged youth, and more!

Who:
15-19 year-olds
Priority given to those living in the Western Addition

What:
Training and hands-on experience in the field of green jobs. Build your resume, attend workshops and field trips. Earn $8/hour.

When:
June 14 – August 11
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
One Saturday/month
Additional days, as scheduled
