  JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH is the true story of the assassination of 21-year-old Fred Hampton, Chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party, by the FBI in 1969. The film focuses on the infiltration of the BPP by member William O’Neal on behalf of the FBI, and sheds a light on the very recent history of surveillance and terrorism waged on Black political parties by the federal government.
