Join your neighbors to spruce up our beautiful flower gardens and veggie beds…preparing for winter. We’ll be pruning, cleaning, mulching and weeding all of our beds and working on the Linden Corner flower beds. Bring a few plants if you’d like to see them planted. Prefer drought tolerant or Milk Weed plants to attract monarch butterflies. We hope to have hundreds of these plants throughout our neighborhood.
There will be tools and gloves. Bring your good spirits and friends and family to help. Meet our main garden volunteers who maintains the flower gardens and the veggie garden. Remember that all the flowers and veggies you see there are maintained by volunteers…our Rec and Park employees support our volunteers.
And, we’ll serve pizza at noon, so bring your appetite.
