The Peace Festival is just one of a slate of events Citizen Film co-hosts as part of our community-driven effort to remake Buchanan Mall as a place of peace and health for residents of the public housing complexes that frame the five-block-long park.
Please join us at the festival on the 24th and/or tomorrow, Aug. 3, at 11am as Mayor Breed, Supervisor Vallie Brown, and children of Western Addition housing activist Mary Rogers lead the unveiling ceremony for the mall’s new Spirit of Fillmore mural on the exterior of the Rosa Parks Senior Center.
