Many park and garden related activities are slated for this summer in Hayes Valley. This Saturday join us to celebrate the opening of the Hayes Valley Playground at Hayes and Buchanan.
BEAUTIFICATION AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE JUNE 8
Each year, San Francisco Beautiful honors neighborhood improvements and beautification efforts by our city’s citizenry through the coveted Beautification Awards. Presented at the Annual Awards Dinner, last year’s winners included Pennsylvania Avenue Garden, Lands’ End Visitor Access and Trail Improvements, Cohen Alley (also known as the Tenderloin National Forest) and Mint Plaza. Honor your neighbor’s commitment to the community and nominate a project for a 2011 Beautification Award.
