- Carmen Chu, SF CIty Assessor. Former Supervisor for District 4, Assessor Chu was appointed to her current office by Mayor Ed Lee in February. Since taking office she is working to make it more customer friendly for residents and businesses, speed up assessment appeals process and modernize the office, as well as prepare for the eventual Supreme Court ruling on Prop. 8, since the Assessor is the recorder of all marriage licenses.
- Patricia Aleman, Recology. Recology recently submitted a zero waste structure rate application to the City. Ms. Aleman will update HVNA on the process and potential outcome.
- Cecile Soto, Operations Manager, Division of Emergency Communications, Department of Emergency Management. Hear the latest on 9-1-1 service and emergency preparedness.
