Why is this hearing important to our community?
Chain stores (also known as formula retail) is banned in Hayes Valley. The Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association, in collaboration with the Hayes Valley Merchant Association, the Planning Department and the City Attorney’s office, and approved by a majority vote of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, banned formula retailers. Join the public hearing and show your support to keep the ban strong in Hayes Valley.
