As many of you may be aware HVNA and concerned neighbors have been talking to the Department of Public Works and the Bureau of Forestry since last month’s meetup on the subject of tree removal in Hayes Valley. We have arranged for representatives to walk us through which trees are scheduled for removal and to discuss if the trees do have structural issues needing removal, and the implications and future plans for the trees in the area. Carla Short from the Department of public works will walk us through the trees on Octavia (between Hayes and Fulton).
