  Join us for a conversation with our new beat officers!

  We are very pleased that the Commanding Officer of Northern Station, Captain Paul Yep, has assigned Beat Officers to patrol Hayes Valley and the Lower Haight. Officers Matthew Andaluz and Michael Marcic will be joining the panel discussion. Lt. Tracy McCray will also join the panel as we discuss the role beat officers play in public safety.

  Our discussion will include:

  ✓ What do beat officers do?
  ✓ What do they not do?
  ✓ What is the range of their beat?
  ✓ How can the community support our beat officers?
  ✓ How can we expand the use of community policing in Hayes Valley and the Lower Haight?
