Transportation & Planning

Focuses on transportation and land use in Hayes Valley and the implementation of the Market/Octavia Better Neighborhood Plan. The T & P committee works with the San Francisco Planning Department, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, other city agencies, developers, and with other community organizations. Key issues in 2015 include ensuring affordable housing is built in Hayes Valley, traffic calming and the Octavia Boulevard operations, improving Muni service, and making walking and bicycling safer in Hayes Valley.
